Thank you to all who were able to make it to our Back to School Night last week. I have attached the powerpoint with my notes on the Resources page for those who were not able to make it. The number one topic that all were eager to hear about was "Student of the Week"(We will abbreviate as SOW for this post). This is a role that each child is anxious to have. We will change the SOW each week until everyone has had a chance at the role. The Student of the Week takes home a poster over the weekend before their week. Parents may help their child fill out the All About Me poster. The SOW will share their poster with the class on Monday and it will be hung in the hallway for all to admire. Most of our classroom jobs change daily, however, the SOW is the Teacher Helper for the whole week. Some of the duties include taking lunch count in the morning, passing out sanitizer, and choosing centers first. The SOW's parent is invited to read a book to the class on Friday.
Looking forward to another great week! :) Mrs. Stephenson
